Pond work rewards doing the boring parts right. On a new build, that means a core trench cut down to good clay and a dam keyed into it, not topsoil pushed up into a ring. It means a spillway sized for the storm that shows up every few years, because an undersized spillway is how dams fail. Gumbo clay catches blame on every job site in the Gulf South, but for pond work it's an asset: worked at the right moisture and compacted in lifts, it seals. And honest scheduling: the basin can be dug most of the year, but the dam wants dry clay, so we build it in the right window rather than fight the water twice.
New 1-acre farm pond: ~2 weeks, pending location and conditions. Dredging an existing 1-acre silted-in pond: ~3–7 days, pending location and conditions. Larger ponds (5+ acres) and recreational lakes scale up.

Site Walk
We walk the property with you, on the ground or by drone. Acreage, terrain, access, wet spots, utility crossings, trees you want kept, and the finish you actually want. The quote comes from the walk, not a satellite guess.

Equipment lowboys in. 811 locates called and cleared before any ground-engaging work: Louisiana 811, Texas 811, or Mississippi 811, depending on where the job sits. SWPPP and erosion control set on industrial sites. COI, named-additional-insured, and waiver-of-subrogation endorsements issued on request.
