House Pads

Build-ready pads. Compacted, drained.

▦ Placeholder · House Pads

A pad is only as good as what you can't see: the lifts under it and the drainage around it. We set pad elevation and the drainage plan before any dirt moves, call in 811 locates before excavation, then build the pad in compacted lifts and proof-roll between them, so soft spots show up under our equipment instead of your foundation. Culverts and the driveway approach get built into the same scope. Same crew, two markets: a house pad in the country or a drill pad in the Haynesville.

Two tracks

House Pads.
Two ways to run it.

Same iron, two markets. One operator to bid both.

Residential Pads

Homes, barns, shops, outbuildings.

Clear the footprint and the approach. Strip the topsoil and stockpile it, you keep it for landscaping. Set the pad elevation off the drainage plan, place fill in compacted lifts, proof-roll, and cut the drainage so the pad sheds water away from the slab. Culvert set and driveway built in the same mobilization. Walk it with your builder before the foundation crew arrives.

Industrial / Oil & Gas Pad Sites

Drill pads, lay-down yards, compressor sites.

Clear to compacted pad. Vegetation removal, topsoil strip and stockpile, access road, fill placed in lifts with compaction and proof-rolls to the operator's spec, SWPPP and BMP installation. 811 locates cleared before the first bucket. Haynesville multi-well pads, LNG-corridor lay-down yards, compressor station sites, integrity-dig staging. Coastal-permit literate where the job runs south.

Production rate

Residential single-family pad: typically 1–3 days clear-to-compacted. Industrial multi-well drill pad: 4–10 days depending on size and topography.

Optimal job size

Single-pad residential through multi-pad industrial campaigns. We bid both.

Terrain

Louisiana coastal plain, Haynesville bottomland, East Texas pine ridges, Gulf Coast wetland-adjacent. Permit coordination as required.

Equipment

Big iron.
Production-grade.

The right tool for the job. Always sized up.

Dozers (450 to 850 classes available)

Push, strip, shape, compact

Process

Same every time.
Predictable on site.

Site walk. Mobilize. Execute. Walk off.

  1. 01

    Site Walk

We walk the property with you, on the ground or by drone. Acreage, terrain, access, wet spots, utility crossings, trees you want kept, and the finish you actually want. The quote comes from the walk, not a satellite guess.

  2. 02

    Mobilization

Equipment lowboys in. 811 locates called and cleared before any ground-engaging work: Louisiana 811, Texas 811, or Mississippi 811, depending on where the job sits. SWPPP and erosion control set on industrial sites. COI, named-additional-insured, and waiver-of-subrogation endorsements issued on request.

  3. 03

    Execution

The iron does the work: our forestry mulcher, excavators, and dozers as the job calls for. Daily check-ins. Drone progress shots on jobs over 5 acres. Daily SWPPP inspection on industrial sites.

  4. 04

    Walk-Off

Demobilize, restore the staging areas, final walk with you or your rep. Drone before/after package on jobs over 5 acres. Invoice when you sign off, not before.

Questions

House Pads.
Answered before the call.

Bidding questions, terrain questions, insurance questions: asked and answered.

Do you do both residential and oilfield pads?
Yes. Same crew, same iron, two different booking paths. Residential typically books through the builder or the owner directly. Industrial pads typically come through an operator MSA or a prime contractor subcontract.
What's included in a turnkey industrial pad?
Clear, topsoil strip and stockpile, fill placed in compacted lifts with proof-rolls to spec, access road, SWPPP plan plus active monitoring, BMP installation (silt fence, rock check dams, sediment basin as required), final survey checkpoint. Pad surface gravel is excluded unless added explicitly.
Can you build a pad in the wet season?
Sometimes. Gulf South gumbo clay holds water, and fill placed on a saturated subgrade fails the proof-roll. If the subgrade won't pass, we tell you straight and work the schedule around the weather. A pad built on soft ground is a foundation problem you inherit later.
Can you handle a coastal pad with permit constraints?
Yes. Louisiana coastal-permit literate. LNG-corridor work in Cameron and Calcasieu parishes sits inside our primary footprint, and we coordinate with your environmental consultant and the coastal-use permit authorities as required.
What states do you cover?
South Louisiana is primary (Acadiana, Baton Rouge corridor, Lake Charles, Northshore, New Orleans metro, central LA). East Texas through Tyler / Longview / Lufkin and into the Houston metro reach. South Mississippi below the red line (601/769/228). NW LA, NE LA, north MS, and south AL/AR for bigger jobs.
How fast can you mobilize?
Landowner work typically books within the same week once the quote is signed. Utility and industrial operator windows get scheduled around your timeline. Tell us the window and we plan the lowboy moves to hit it. June through November we keep slack in the schedule for storm response.
Are you insured?
$1M general liability, with options to increase per job requirements. Bondable. Ask for a COI and it's in your inbox within 24 hours.
Do you publish pricing?
No. Every job gets bid off the walk: acreage, terrain, target finish, access, and timing all move the number. Call or send a property pin and we'll walk it together. You get a straight quote from the operator, not a price sheet.
