A pad is only as good as what you can't see: the lifts under it and the drainage around it. We set pad elevation and the drainage plan before any dirt moves, call in 811 locates before excavation, then build the pad in compacted lifts and proof-roll between them, so soft spots show up under our equipment instead of your foundation. Culverts and the driveway approach get built into the same scope. Same crew, two markets: a house pad in the country or a drill pad in the Haynesville.
Calcasieu pad work has to plan for elevation from the start. Post-storm rebuild standards in much of the parish require pads built well above original grade.
